Watch this looong photo galery about our trip in Poland. We cycled from Zielona Góra to Zielona Gora about 3000 km and exaclty 2 km before the finish line I got flat tire (my only one). Fortunately, I was able to change it :) It was the first such a long journey. At the beginning it was very hard to tolerate sticky sweaty ourselves; to go to WC in the forest or behind the bus stop every day and of course the cycling itself was exhausting .. up the hill(oh no! my chain is gonna break..crack.. crack) and down the hill (oh no! I have a fly in my eye I cannot see) up and down. After 3 days I almost gave up but there was a small motivation that didn't allow me to do that. We wanted to get to Woodstock festival on time. The best event in Poland ! As we travellled through the southern part of Poland I was so scared riding my bike on a very crowded road without a berm, feelnig the wind from the underneath of big trucks and seeing poor dead animals looked like pancakes. However. we managed to get to Bieszczady a wonderful place to visit.

This place is very magical and it always feels like home. No doubt that the eastern side of Poland is more interesting then our well-known modern west. It was so peaceful to cycle there and now there is a new long cycling path along the west border ending at the seaside (about 2000km). I can totally recommend this ride. We have some extra photos from the west here. Admiring those beautiful landscapes we were looking forward to dive into Baltic Sea. I dreamt about having a refreshing bath and tasty fish everyday. Luckily, there was an amazing desert beach waiting for us where we stayed and relaxed for a few days.

Finally, we managed to get to Woodstock where we were filled up with postive vibrations, wonderful music and beer;) Waking up in the morning (with a headache), we had to get ourselves together, pack our bike panniers and go to Zielona Gora to close the circle around the Poland. It was raining but we carried on and stayed strong. As you know we did it:) Hope you enjoy some of the photos, maybe you have been to a place somewhere in Poland that got stuck in your memory, please leave a comment...
